Q. I receive a “TRANSACTION DENIED” message while using the Card Value Centers (CVC), what do I do?
A. The message indicates that there might be a problem with your card; please visit the Gold Points office.

Q. I have more than one SJSU ID Card; can I use all of them?
A. Each card is coded differently and only one can be activated to access your account at any time. If your card does not work,
visit the Gold Points office to activate it.

Q. Can I withdraw money from my Gold Points account?
A. Partial withdrawals are not permitted from your Gold Points account

Q. How do I get a refund for my Gold Points?
A. In general, Gold Points received as part of a meal plan purchase are considered part of the plan and any remaining balance cannot be refunded if the plan is cancelled. If the plan’s terms allow the patron to keep the remaining Gold Points after the plan end date, the Gold Points cannot be refunded until after the plan end date. Upon written request, accounts with balances of less than $10.00 are eligible for a cash refund. Patrons with account balances of $10.00 or greater will be issued a check, to be mailed within two weeks.

A. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
