Q. Do I need to get a new card to use Gold Points? A. No, your Gold Points account is associated with your SJSU ID Card. Most new students automatically have their
cards enabled for the account. If yours does not seem to work, just call us at (408) 924-1885.
Q. Do I pay a transaction fee each time I use my Gold Points? A. No, there are no transaction fees for using Gold Points.
Q. Will I need a PIN code to use my Gold Points account? A. No, there is no need for a PIN as your card will be swiped at each location. You must present your card at the time
of the transaction. This adds to the security of the system.
Q.How do I check my balance? A. You can check your balance in any of the following ways:
Ask a cashier at any of the Spartan Dining locations.
Inquire within the Spartan Shops Office.
You can also use a Card Value Center (CVC) to check your balance.
