The Spartan Gold Points Plan, all forms, records and transcripts of its use are the property of Spartan Shops, Inc. Participation in the
Spartan Gold Points Plan may be revoked at any time.

All sales transactions charged to the Customer's account through the use of Spartan Gold Points are final at the point and time of the sale.
The customer is responsible for observing the transaction amount charged to his/her account at the point and time of sale and the
customer is responsible for monitoring his/her own account balance.

Account balance statements are available through the Spartan Shops Dining Service Administration Office in the Cafeteria building on a
special request basis only. A charge may be required for frequent inquiry requests.

Customers may close their Gold Points account at any time by submitting a written request to the Gold Points office. The request must come from the account holder, and include date, name, card number and mailing address.

 

In general, Gold Points received as part of a meal plan purchase are considered part of the plan and any remaining balance cannot be refunded if the plan is cancelled. If the plan’s terms allow the patron to keep the remaining Gold Points after the plan end date, the Gold Points cannot be refunded until after the plan end date.

  • Accounts with a remaining balance of less than $10.00 will be refunded in cash at the time of cancellation.
  • Accounts with a balance of $10.00 or greater will be refunded via check, to be mailed within two weeks of the cancellation request.
